DESCRIPTION:How many aspects of a local food loop (production, prepara
 tion, consumption, composting, and education) can we incorporate into 
 one meal? For example, growing food for the meal and composting the fo
 od scraps and recycling the packaging. Join us for a tasty, celebrator
 y and educational community potluck where everyone’s encouraged to g
 row some food or ingredients for the potluck and tell us about your ex
 periences growing and preparing your contribution to the meal. The foo
 d scraps will be composted through the WE Food Scraps Drop Spot at the
  Community Centre (co-sponsored by WENFN), plastic packaging will be r
 ecycled through Village Vancouver‘s Plastic Recycling Depot, and fre
 e seeds are available in advance from the WENFN seed library to help y
