DESCRIPTION:The end of the garden season provides a bounty for the com
 post, but what if some of that material could be made into something i
 nstead of going straight to the bin?\nSharon Kallis leads workshop par
 ticipants though learning how to identify what plants have possible cr
 eative use as the group helps bed down the Means of Production top gar
 den area for the winter. Morning glory vines, daylily and iris leaves 
 and even running buttercup roots can be used for creative experimentat
 ion and Sharon will teach simple techniques such as rope making and co
 iled basketery with the plants that are harvested. Leave with your sam
 ples that were made on site, and the know-how to begin weaving from yo
 ur own green waste pile.\nRain or shine outdoors with some shelter- dr
 ess weather appropriate.\nFree, limited participation (max 12). Please
