 discuss basics and learn about canning recipesand other methods for pr

 ie Newell works with the Society Promoting Environmental Conservation
 (SPEC) and is a passionate food preserver with dozens of cans under he
 r belt. She has been trained by food preservers from such diverse back
 grounds as Backwoods to Big City Chef.\n Caitlin Dorward is past pres
 ident of Sprouts at UBC, a SPEC Director, Agricultural  Researcher an
 d avid foodie and canner. She is food safe certified and has been tea
