 tion system (drip, micro-sprinkler, etc) for your garden\nInstructor: 
 Dr. Jose Celedon Jose grew up spending his summer holidays and weekend
 s helping at his uncle’s Farm where he learned his first lessons abo
 ut growing vegetables and fruits. Since then, he has been always invol
 ved with different farming activities, from driving tractors to fixing
  irrigation pipes. Jose worked in irrigation research for the Chilean 
 Ministry of Agriculture and developed teaching material in water manag
 ement and irrigation for the University of Chile. He obtained a PhD in
  Horticultural Sciences at the University of Florida, USA. Currently, 
 Jose is doing Postdoctoral studies in genetics of tree defenses agains
 t insects at the University of British Columbia in addition to collabo
 rating with the UBC Farm to improve their irrigation system and practi
 ces.\nCancellation Policy: SPEC reserves the right to cancel any cours
 e or reduce the number of instructional hours, should the class not re
 ach 50% capacity 5 days before the class. In the event that a course i
 s cancelled, SPEC will offer students the option of transferring to an
 other course, or obtaining a full refund.\nRefund Policy: All cancella
 tions must be made at least 5 working days before the start of the cou
 rse by contacting fieldschool@spec.bc.ca or 604.736.7732. A 15$ proces
 sing fee is charged for cancellations. There is no fee for transferrin
