  mostly vlounteer run non-profit society. We have thousands of communi
 ty members and engage in over 350 mostly neighbourhood based activitie
 s and projects a year, and we're also part of the worldwide, permacult
 ure inspired Transition Town movement. We engage individuals, neighbo
 urhoods, and organiztions in taking actions which help connect neighbo
 urs in building just, sustainable, and resilient communities in fun an
 d celebratory ways.\r\n \r\nIn this one hour interactive presentation
 , VV Founder and Convenor Ross Moster will hightlight some of our curr
 ent  and upcoming initiatives, as well as discussing  some of the ma
 ny ways in which people participate in Village.  We'll have the VV K
 its branch VPL community seed library present - pick up some free seed
