DESCRIPTION:The Village Vancouver Outreach Committee is charged with t
 he important task of spreading our message, engaging our members, star
 ting collaborations with other organisations and many other tasks crit
 ical to building our capacity to effect change.\n\nWe have a couple of
  opportunities to obtain the help of groups of university students fro
 m SFU and UBC in outreach-related projects which we should know the ou
 tcome of by the time of our next meeting. Should we have one or more g
 roups of students assigned to us, our next meeting will largely be foc
 ussed on setting the framework for the students' project so that we ca
 n get the most out of the collaboration.\n\nIf we do not find out by n
 ext week about the student opportunities, or if neither opportunity pa
 ns out, we may reschedule this meeting to Jan. 23rd instead and focus
