DESCRIPTION:Village Vancouver Transition Society is looking to add ene
 rgetic and enthusiastic new members, including a new Treasurer, to our
  active and dedicated board. We're a working board, and board members 
 are expected to contribute a minimum of 10 hrs./month (including month
 ly board meetings) to help build organizational capacity, carry out ou
 r program priorities, increase member engagement, and ensure effective
  stewardship of the society's resources. Our 2014-16 program prioritie
 s include 1) strengthening the capacity of local villages and constitu
 encies, 2) identifying, developing, and nurturing initiatives that dem
 onstrate the principles of sustainability, resilience and regeneration
 , and 3) develop related learning opportunities - for example, worksho
