DESCRIPTION:Part of VV's As We Know It food and culture project.\nCome
  learn how to make your own traditional, fermented sauerkraut with Aly
 ssa Kohlman. Fermented vegetables have many health benefits, including
  live enzymes, readily available vitamins and minerals, and probiotics
  -- and sauerkraut and other fermented vegetables are suitable for ev
 eryone!  If possible, each person should bring a large knife, cutting
  board, large bowl, and a 500ml-size wide-mouth mason jar with lid. P
 articipants will go home with a jar of sauerkraut to ferment at home.,
  \nToday's event includes a short discussion about traditional and co
 ntemporary foods with As We Know It artist Yi Stropky.\nVV will have a
  seed library present - you can get some free seeds for your garden 
 or swap or donate some seeds.\nSuggested donation: $15 ($7 cost of mat
 erials included), cash only. Limit 8 participants. Register here or to
