 ntial to beer through an interactive talk, a local microbrewery tour, 
 and plenty of tasting.\nPresented in partnership with Bomber Brewing, 
 this will be a focused look at the ingredients in beer, and why and ho
 w they have been used through a global, historical perspective. Learn 
 why women were once the only people allowed to brew beer, see hops wit
 h a closer lens to find the oils and resins on the female flowers, tas
 te malted (germinated) barley, and understand the plant-based language
  of beer flavour profiling. The first evening will be an interactive t
 alk at VanDusen, including sampling beer brewed specifically by Bomber
  Brewing with ingredients harvested from the Garden. The second evenin
 g will be a tour and tasting at Bomber Brewing among the tanks of ferm
 enting ales. Price includes talk, brewery tour, and beer tasting at bo
