  NEW DATE: Wednesday March 1st.\n\nLearn how to make your own traditio
 nal, fermented sauerkraut (spicy version available) in this Village Va
 ncouver ElderGreens workshop with Alyssa Kohlman. Fermented vegetables
  have many health benefits, including live enzymes, readily available 
 vitamins and minerals, and probiotics -- and sauerkraut and other ferm
 ented vegetables are suitable for everyone (vegetarian, vegan, Paleo, 
 gluten free). Please bring a wide-mouth 500ml mason jar, cutting board
 , large knife, and large bowl if you're able to, and wear clothes you 
 don't mind preparing food in. Participants will go home with a jar of 
 Customized sauerkraut to ferment at home.\nAdults and families with ch
 ildren 10 years and older are welcome. All minors must be accompanied 
 by a caregiver. We'll have a Community Seed Library present - you can 
 get some free seeds for your garden or swap or donate some seeds. This
  workshop is by donation ($0 - $10), plus a $7 materials fee. Free for
  Seniors (50 and over).\nRegister by Wednesday, Feb 7th here or by ema
