DESCRIPTION:The SPEC Urban Farmer Field School is a new social enterpr
 ise/environmental education initiative to bring local food and agricul
 ture awareness to Vancouver, BC. Students of the 6-month program will
  learn the ins-and-outs of urban agriculture, community environmental 
 stewardship, and business planning, while greening the face of the cit
 y with new front yard food gardens.  The program is set to launch in
