DESCRIPTION:A short ferry from Vancouver in the tiny village of Robert
 s Creek comes a unique, low-cost, flexibly scheduled Permaculture Desi
 gn Course. Meeting once a month over fourteen months in locations on t
 he Sunshine Coast and Greater Vancouver area, the class caters anyone 
 who wants to learn permaculture but cannot afford the cost or intensiv
 e time commitment of other courses including lower-income families, st
 udents, youth and people for who are called permaculture but have been
  struggling to find a course that fits their life.\nJoin this adventur
 e in learning as it journeys to eco-locations like the Heart Gardens, 
 UBC Farm, The Frogs Hollow, Rolling Earth, Country Haven, Strathcona a
 nd Cottonwood Gardens, Compost Education Center, Loutet Farm, Sole Foo
 d, Old Growth Forest sites and the properties of students who want to 
 host. \nThe course is very flexible with busy lives and organized mod
 ularly. If you miss a class you can jump in on the the same module in 
 a different class at no extra cost. I am running two courses concurren
 tly to allow for even more flowing make up classes. A monday class sta

 ...\n2012 Urban-Rural : Southern British Columbia Permaculture Design 
 Certification Course\nA small ring of learners will meet up once a mon
 th in the Greater Vancouver and Elphinstone Rainforest to learn about 
 how nature designs itself and how we can become sustainable designers 
 ourselves. Together we will learn how to map and design our land and o
 ur lives, plan for emergency, grow organic food in all four seasons an
 d work to build a more sustainable future. The certification granted u
 pon completion of the course will empower participants as  permacultu
 re designers, consultants and beginner teachers able to use the word p
 ermaculture legally in their practice, business or project. This susta
 inability education eco-training certificate is a practical path for g
 reening your life, resume and portfolio. \nCourse Topics include: des
 ign methods * patterns in nature * soils and composting * water * tree
 s * design for cool , tropical and arid climates * social permaculture
  * native food and medicine plants of the Coastal First Peoples and m
 uch much more. We have worksheets, permaculture design gaming tools, a
 n online social networking and educational support platform, as well a
 s hundreds of gardens as our living classroom.\nAll proceeds go towar
 ds basic course costs and paying for Delvins permaculture education.\n
 Delvin Solkinson has completed a Diploma and Masters Degree in Permacu
 lture Education through Bill Mollison in Tasmania and done advanced tr
 ainings with David Holmgren, Geoff Lawton, Robyn Francis, the Bullock 
 Brothers, Tom Ward, Jude Hobbs, Michael Becker, Robin Clayfield and Ro
