DESCRIPTION:The Community Food Festival is a celebration of local food
  activities and a showcase of our community organizations’ efforts t
 o build a sustainable and secure food network. We will be inviting var
 ious community partners to come together to host workshops regarding c
 omposting, farming, and cooking in the afternoons and evenings during 
 the three days of the event. The Food Festival will culminate in a Foo
 d Fair on the final day of the festival in which community partners wi
 ll showcase their projects, sell fresh produce, plants, healthy snack 
 items, etc.\nThe Community Food Festival will be an opportunity for ou
 r neighbors, as well as the greater public, to connect with food asset
 s and to gain a better understanding of food programming in South Vanc
