DESCRIPTION:This interactive workshop for parents/caregivers and child
 ren has two parts:\n1) Join librarian Ning for a garden-related Storyt
 ime at the Kensington branch of the Vancouver Public Library. At Story
 time, parents and caregivers are supported in their roles as their chi
 ldren’s first and most important teachers and shown ways to share la
 nguage with them.\n2) Participants will move across the street to join
  gardening instructor Jennifer (from West Coast Seeds) for some fun ac
 tivities at the Kingcrest Community Garden. These activities can be tr
 ansferred to home gardens where the adults and their kids can continue
  learning together.\nThis workshop has very limited space so please pr
 e-register. This workshop is for families with children ages 3-7 (no m
 ore than 2 children per family at this time).\n\nFor more information
