DESCRIPTION:We're having a seed packet folding party on Sunday, April 
 7th from 2:30-3:30pm at the fieldhouse.\nGoal: create over a thousand 
 new seed packets for our community seed libraries (we now have 22 libr
 aries around the city) by the end of the month. Next seed party: Sunda
 y, April 29th 2-4 pm in Kits.\nWe'll have the fieldhouse community see
 d library present - pick up some free seeds for your garden, swap or d
 onate seeds.\nBefore the seed party, we'll be gardening at our Cottonw
 ood plots from 1:30-2:30. New gardeners welcome!\nAfter the seed party
 , we'll be holding our 2018 Gardening & Permaculture Opportunities In
 fo Session from 3:30-4:30. Looking for a place to garden? We have sev
 eral collaborative gardens around Vancouver, and room for 10-12 new ga
 rdeners.\n\n\nOur healthy, local food and gardening residency at the S
 trathcona Park Field House offers a variety of affordable food and com
 munity based programming at the fieldhouse, Strathcona Community Centr
 e, and elsewhere.\nThis activity is part of Village Vancouver's Buildi
 ng Community Food Security and Resilience Project. This project is ma
 de possible by the BC Ministry of Agriculture's Grow Local program. We
