SUMMARY:Renew, Re-engage and Reconnect to Life
DESCRIPTION:Weekend workshop, May 2 &3, 2015\nStanley Park Ecology Cen
tre, Coast Salish Territory, Vancouver, B.C.\n\nReconnecting to Life/W
ork that Reconnects workshops are transformative group experiences des
igned to enliven and deepen our motivations for creating a just and su
stainable world.\n\nParticipants engage heart, mind and spirit in the
task of deepening and repairing our connections to ourselves, our huma
n community and all planetary life. Within a safe group process, we ce
lebrate the joy and beauty of life, open to our place within nature, a
nd share witness to our full range of feelings about the challenges fa
cing our troubled world.\n\nThrough dialogue, ritual, and contemplatio
n, skilled and experienced facilitators invite us into new ways of see
ing; encourage us to speak our truths and to find the creativity for b
ringing our gifts into the service of life.\nIn these times, when the
urgency to stop the destruction is so great, this work brings us home
to our fullest possibility.\n\n“A very safe and enriching environmen
t...it was as if we all built the web together, following the facilita
tors’ lead. It made it very easy to go deeper into myself and access
my truth.”\n\n“A life changing experience in opening the body, mi
nd and spirit to the potential of who we are in relation to all other
beings on this fragile planet we call home.”\n\n“A time of nourish
ment and rejuvenation, a reclaiming of my personal power, a naming of
my future direction and of experiencing immense gratitude to all being
s.”\n\nThe Work That Reconnects is a pioneering form of group work d
eveloped by eco-philosopher Joanna Macy. It has helped many around the
globe find insight, solidarity, and courage to act. This program, ins
pired by Joanna’s work and mentoring, also integrates additional exp
 eriences and influences.\n\nRegistration & Information\nCost: $150 (do
es not include lunches). You can send a deposit of $50 to Jackie Larki
 n to reserve your space.\nDate: May 2 & 3, 9:00am – 5:00pm.\nContact
