 to YWCA Crabtree Corner – A donation to Crabtree Corner helps low-in
 come families in the Downtown Eastside. Donations support Crabtree’s
  community kitchen, parenting groups, a fetal alcohol spectrum disorde
 r prevention program, temporary housing and a drop-in early learning a
 nd care centre. Donate now. Emergency Food Vouchers – In BC, 59% of 
 the 108,000 families led by single mothers are living in poverty. It i
 s often very difficult for them to afford even the most basic necessit
 ies. 100% of the funds raised for this program are used to purchase fo
 od vouchers at a discount, so your financial support will stretch even
  further. Donate now.\nSupport Shoes for Kids – A good pair of shoes
  is important for babies who are learning to walk and for physically a
 ctive children. In response to the growing number of families who are 
 unable to buy new shoes for their children, the YWCA launched the Shoe
 s for Kids program in 2002. All the funds raised are used to purchase 
 vouchers for modestly priced new athletic shoes for children who atten
