DESCRIPTION:This workshop is now full.\nLearn to make \"pickled\" (lac
 to-fermented) beets and carrots with Alyssa Kohlman from Fermentoring 
 in this hand-on workshop from Village Vancouver ElderGreens at the Str
 athcona Park Field House. We'll explore both self brined and added bri
 ne methods of vegetable fermentation. This is a raw, vegan, paleo-frie
 ndly process, and participants will go home with a jar of beets, carro
 ts, or a mixture, with a customized spice mix. Please bring a 500ml-si
 ze wide-mouth mason jar with lid if you're able to.\nFree for Seniors 
 (50 & over). $0-10 sliding scale, plus $7 materials fee for everyone e
