DESCRIPTION:Gregoire Lamoureux has been teaching & working with Permac
 ulture for over 20 years in many parts of the country. He will share h
 is experience of implementing a permaculture design on a small farm in
  the Kootenays. And he will also be talking about permaculture strateg
 ies that can be implemented on a smaller scale in the city. Other topi
 cs covered in the presentation will include the challenges & opportuni

  is a permaculture designer, consultant and teacher.\nHe presented th
 e first Permaculture workshop in Vancouver in 1993. And taught the fir
 st Permaculture Design Course in French in Québec in 1995, and also t
 aught the Permaculture Design Course as a Summer Session at the Univer
 sity of Manitoba in 2005. Gregoire has been teaching the annual Permac
 ulture Design Course in Ontario since 2001 and with Selkirk College in
  Nelson, BC since 2002.\nHis work experience includes market gardening
 , greenhouse production, orcharding, ecological land restoration, smal
 l-scale nursery management, landscaping, aquaculture, forestry & carpe
