 Broadway,  and the expensive public \"benefits\" in the proposal (mar
 ket rental units, large retail space & expensive artist space) will pu
 sh up land value and push out local small businesses, and will set the
  wrong precedent for future development in and around Main. \nMembers
  from the citizens Mt Pleasant Community Liaison Group say, \"Mount Pl
 easant is willing to accept density but that's not necessarily synonym
 ous with high-rise buildings. There's a difference between height and 
 density, and you can achieve density between 8 and 15 storeys.\"\n\nFo
