 e Vancouver Centre of the R.A.S.C. meets at 7:30 p.m. on the second Th
 ursday of each month, downstairs in the auditorium of the H.R. MacMill
 an Space Centre. Each meeting usually has a program which is a blend o
 f current astronomical research and local amateur activities. The meet
 ing is followed by an informal gathering at the Gordon MacMillan South
 am Observatory for the three “c’s”; coffee, cookies and conversa
 tion. Visitors are welcome to attend most of our meetings, which are f
