DESCRIPTION:It's on! VV's BIGGEST POTLUCK yet will take place at Herit
 age Hall a week before Thanksgiving, on Monday October 4.\n\nWe start 
 the evening with family-friendly activities at 6 and then tap deeper i
 nto Storm Brewery's local best concoctions and into wild, danceable mu
 sic as the evening progresses. We'll have fresh, local, live music, gr
 eat conversation, local exhibits, and 300-400 of the most happening an
 d sustainable people in Vancouver.\n\nThis will be a showcase of local
  foods, locally prepared, and shared. Take the opportunity to test out
  a new Thanksgiving recipe or learn from others. We will be demonstrat
 ing the \"2 Block Diet\" and urban agriculture (including eggs).\n\nWe
  will also tolerate no waste. All leftovers will be taken home or comp
 osted, and all dinnerware will be real; no paper, cardboard, plastic, 
 styrofoam, or anything that cannot be washed and reused. We will not e
 ven have a trash can at the event.\n\nIf you can't bring anything, jus
 t show up anyway, eat well, and celebrate your community! There is no 
 admissions cost, the food can't be beat, and the beer will be excellen
 t and affordable.\n\nTablers will include Neighbour's Organic Weekly F
 ood Buying Co-op (NOWBC), No Tanks!, False Creek Watershed Society, Sa
 lmon are Sacred, Canadian Society for Ecological Economics, Two Block 
 Diet, Seed to Sky Gardening Club, Be the Change, Zero Waste Vancouver,
  and VV. There will also be information from local Neighbourhood House
 s and Community Centres, the 350.Org 10.10.10 Dig In action, and other
