 ws all around us. In this Village Vancouver Eldergreens workshop and w
 alk, you'll learn about edible plants that call our region home. Lori 
 Snyder from the Metis Nation will discuss how to identify and harvest 
 wild, edible, and medicinal plants in an ethical way. Please dress app
 ropriately for the weather. Rain or shine. (We'll set up a tent if it 
 rains.)\n\nWe'll have the Pt. Grey Village Community Seed Library pres
 ent and you'll be able to take, swap or donate seeds.\n\n$0-10 suggest

 ge Vancouver, the garden includes VV’s Demonstration Permaculture Ga
 rden, the WPG Preschool Garden and art/garden projects by artists-in-r
 esidence LocoMotoArt: Laura Lee Coles and Rob Scharein. Emphasizing pe
 rmaculture design elements, including a small hugelkultur, an herb spi
 ral, planting pollinator attractants, and saving open pollinated seeds
 , the garden offers fun, inclusive social, educational, culinary and c
 ultural activities for community members. Enjoy free/low-cost Wednesda
 y evening cooking, fermenting & preserving demonstrations, inc. sauerk
 raut, kefir,and tastes of Korea and India, gardening workshops like ea
 rly summer gardening, native edibles walks and the seed savers club.\n
 In the garden, newer gardeners garden collaboratively alongside more e
 xperienced gardeners at our Saturday work parties, providing a learnin
