DESCRIPTION:We currently have room for one more person.\n\nMason jar s
 alads are ideal for make-ahead lunches. They are stacks of salad ingre
 dients, layered in such a way that they remain fresh until consumed, a
 nd are healthy and easy to make. In this Village Vancouver ElderGreens
  workshop with Rashmi GC, you'll learn how to make one and take it hom
 e with you. All materials and ingredients will be provided, including 
 a mason jar.\nAdults and families with children 10 years and older are
  welcome. All minors must be accompanied by a caregiver. We'll have a 
 Community Seed Library present at the beginning - you can get some fre
 e seeds for your garden or swap or donate some seeds. (Please come a l
 ittle early for seeds.)\nFREE. Register by Monday, Feb 13th here or by

 ROJECT Located behind the Mansion, just off of NW Marine Dr, and hoste
 d by Village Vancouver, the garden includes VV’s Demonstration Perma
 culture Garden, the WPG Preschool Garden and art/garden projects by ar
 tists-in-residence LocoMotoArt: Laura Lee Coles and Rob Scharein. Emph
 asizing permaculture design elements, including a small hugelkultur, a
 n herb spiral, planting pollinator attractants, and saving open pollin
 ated seeds, the garden offers fun, inclusive social, educational, culi
 nary and cultural activities for community members. Enjoy free or low-
 cost Wednesday evening cooking, fermenting and preserving demonstratio
 ns, including sauerkraut, kefir, and tastes of Korea and India, garden
 ing workshops like early summer gardening, native edibles walks and th
 e seed savers club.\nIn the garden, newer gardeners garden collaborati
 vely alongside more experienced gardeners at our Saturday work parties
