 n\nMike Nickerson has spent 35 years studying cultural evolution, in p
 articular, how our societies might make the transition to sustainabili
 ty. He is the author of \"Life, Money and Illusion; Living on Earth as
  if We Want to Say\" recently published in its second edition by New S
