 munity and live in alignment with your values.\nTravel to farms, fores
 ts and gardens on a creative learning journey. We will learn how to m
 ap and design our homes, communities and lives, planning for disaster 
 and growing more of our own food.\nField trips include visits to farms
 , forests, gardens and parks like Means of Production Garden, Loutet F
 arm, Strathcona/Cottonwood Gardens, City Farmer, Kits Community Garden
 s, Brewery Creek Community Garden, Yarrow Ecovillage, UBC Farm and num
 erous other locations in Greater Vancouver.\nThis 15 month, weekend pr
 ogram offers accessibility and ease and while allowing you to observe 
 changes throughout the seasons. It is flexible for busy lives and orga
 nized modularly. Missed classes can be done at no extra cost with othe
 r groups and there is no time limit to complete the certification.\nC
 ompletion of this course earns you the internationally recognized cert
 ificate from the Permaculture Research Institute Australia or the Perm
 aculture Research Institute USA. This certification empowers participa
 nts to become professional permaculture designers, consultants and tea
