 arms, forests and gardens on a creative learning journey. We will lea
 rn how to map and design our homes, communities and lives, planning fo
 r disaster and growing more of our own food.\nField trips include visi
 ts to farms, forests, gardens and parks like Means of Production Garde
 n, Loutet Farm, Strathcona/Cottonwood Gardens, City Farmer, Kits Commu
 nity Gardens, Brewery Creek Community Garden, Yarrow Ecovillage, UBC F
 arm and numerous other locations in Greater Vancouver.\nThis 12 month,
  weekend program offers accessibility and ease and while allowing you 
 to observe changes throughout the seasons. It is flexible for busy liv
 es and organized modularly. Missed classes can be done at no extra cos
 t with other groups and there is no time limit to complete the certif
 ication.\nCompletion of this course earns you the internationally reco
 gnized certificate from the Permaculture Research Institute Australia 
 or the Permaculture Research Institute USA. This certification empower
