SUMMARY:*Kits Village Recycling Depot is resuming! 1st depot Thursday,
  October 15th
DESCRIPTION:The Kits Village Recycling Depot is resuming! Our free Oct
ober depot is tomorrow night (Thursday, October 15) from 6-7 pm at KIt
s Community Centre.\r\n\r\nTo ensure your safety and ours, and to conf
orm with various COVID-19 safety guidelines (City of Vancouver, Park B
oard, Community Centres, Vancouver Foundation Neighbourhood Small Gran
t, and Village Vancouver) we're following these protocols:\r\n\r\nPre-
registration is required. RSVP to kitsrecycling@villagevancouver.ca.
If you're not feeling well, please stay home! All participants will be
asked to confirm that they're not sick at the depot.\r\n\r\nSort your
stuff before you come to the depot, so as to minimize your time there
. (See the updates below. There are some new categories and some clari
fications.) Please wear a mask. If you need one, let us know and we'll
bring one for you. (We'll be wearing masks as well.) If someone is us
ing the depot when you arrive, line up in the pathway next to the wall
, and practice social distancing (at least 2 meters or 6 ft.) at all t
imes.\r\n\r\nPlease wait until we give you the go ahead before proceed
ing to the bag area.\r\n\r\nBefore putting your recyclables in the app
ropriate bags, use the on-site hand sanitizer and sign in. Avoid touch
ing the bags as much as possible. We'll be using our new bag holders,
so this should be fairly easy. Bags will be clearly marked, and info w
ill be on hand re: where to put items which folks typically have quest
ions about.\r\n\r\nBleach wipes will also be available.\r\n\r\nWhen yo
u're finished, please exit via the west side of the area (the area clo
sest to the parking area), so as to minimize contact with anyone who m
ay be waiting to use the depot.\r\n\r\nThank you in advance for your c
ooperation!\r\n\r\n***\r\nDrop off your clean plastics at our free mon
thly recycling depot. Pre-sort your plastics and arrive no later than
6:45. (Please note that we can't accept anything before 6 pm.)\r\nKits
