DESCRIPTION:Share a free meal with neighbours, prepared by a neighbour
 . Last year, almost 200 people participated at several spaghetti night
 s and the community-wide celebration.\nOur next DISN is on September 
 23. Hosted by Local Chef Russell, this meal is aimed at neighbours li
 ving within 2-3 blocks of 5th and Trafalgar, but is open to all. Russ
 ell will cook a delicious vegetarian meal from local ingredients. Yum!
 \nThere's room for 14 people. Please RSVP. This spaghetti night is no
 w full. Stay tuned for upcoming dinners.\nOver the next couple months 
 different Kits Villagers and other VVers around the Westside will host
  several spaghetti nights, culminating in a  community-wide celebrati
 on. Hosts will provide the meal and track where the ingredients come f
 rom, and we'll collate how local our eating habits are and how spaghet
 ti nights help connect neighbours and report on our findings at the co
 mmunity gathering.\nMuch of the food will be grown and sourced locally
 , including from the Kits Village Collaborative Garden and the Thursda
 y Westside Community Food Market. Hosts who want to \"grow their own D
 ISN dinner\" can obtain free seeds from the KV Seed library, and then 
 can recycle any plastic containers at the monthly Kits Village Plastic
  Recycling Depots, and compost the food scraps at the KV garden or tak
 e them to one of our weekly food scrap drops spots.\nBy the way, they�
 ��re called Drop-in “Spaghetti” nights, because many of the ones w
 e've held in the past have involved serving spaghetti, but they can re
 ally involve any foods - for instance, Drop-in Rutabaga Night.\nIf you
