DESCRIPTION:Share a free meal with neighbours, prepared by a neighbour
 . Last year, almost 200 people participated in over a dozen spaghetti 
 nights and at the community-wide celebration.\nOur 7th DISN is on Nove
 mber 16. Open to all, this drop-in vegetarian meal hosted by Bina is a
 imed at neighbours living within 2-3 blocks of 13th and Maple.\nThere'
 s room for 8 people. The 7th in a series of 12 plus neighbourhood Dr
 op-in \"Spaghetti\" Nights hosted by different Kits Villagers and othe
 r VVers around Kits and the Westside over the next few months, plus th
 e community-wide celebration at St. Marks on November 7th. Hosts wi
 ll provide the meal and track where the ingredients come from, and we'
 ll collate how local our eating habits are and how spaghetti night are
  helping connect neighbours at the community gathering.\nMuch of the f
 ood will be grown and sourced locally, including from the Kits Village
  Collaborative Garden and (previously) from the Thursday Westside Comm
 unity Food Market. Hosts who want to \"grow their own DISN dinner\" ca
 n obtain free seeds from the KV Seed library, and then can recycle any
  plastic containers at the monthly Kits Village Plastic Recycling Depo
 ts, and compost the food scraps at the KV garden or take them to one o
 f our weekly food scrap drops spots.\nBy the way, they’re called Dro
 p-in “Spaghetti” nights, because many of the ones we've held in th
 e past have involved serving spaghetti, but they can really involve an
 y foods - for instance, Drop-in Rutabaga Night.\nIf you live on the We
