SUMMARY:*Kits Village Dinner Group #1 January Gathering: Mexican, with
  a hint of Robbie Burns
DESCRIPTION:We currently have two dinner groups. Our 1st group started
  in 2012, and our 2nd group started last Spring.\nTypically, one or tw
 o households take turns creating a meal for everyone else in the group
  once a month. (Folks with smaller places can team up with folks with 
 larger places or hold their dinner during warmer months in a park or y
 ard.)\nOccasionally, we vary it with a brunch or combine it with anoth
 er activity, like going to the Celebration of Light in July. Sometimes
  hosts do themed meals -- for example, this months meal is \"Mexican, 
 with a nod to Robbie Burns (um, bring a favourite Robbie Burns poem to
  read (in Spanish??), wear a sombrero with your tartan duds...\", next
  month is a Mardi Gras themed meal, October may be Diwali.\nWe also en
 courage folks in the dinner groups to be active elsewhere in Kits Vill
 age and the neighbourhood, and many dinner group members apply for Nei
 ghbourhood Small Grants to carry out activities and projects.\nIf you
