DESCRIPTION:Our July Deopt at the Community Market was very successful
 , so we'll be holding it there again in August and September...\nKit
 s Village Vancouver will collect plastics for FREE at the  Westside C
 ommunity Food (Pocket) Market at 8th and Vine. Please come by to pick
  up some fresh veggies and other goodies from local growers and produ
 cers, swap some seeds at our seed library, signup for upcoming drop in
  spaghetti nights, and drop off your plastics!\nThis is a great way to
  get to know your neighbours and get rid of all the plastics that cann
 ot recycled through the city program, i.e. plastic bags, wraps, styrof
 oam etc.\nAt the market we will have several large plastic bags set up
 , one for each plastic category 1) soft plastics, i.e. any plastic bag
 s, wraps or packaging, 2) hard plastics, i.e. any hard plastics, but w
 /metal parts etc. removed, 3) styrofoam blocks, 4) styrofoam container
 s, i.e. cups and food take out containers, 5) styrofoam peanuts and ot
 her \"soft\" styrofoam, 6) wax lined beverage containers, 7) milk cart
 ons (separate from other beverage containers), 8) foil lined bags pack
 aging and wraps). The plastics will be dropped off at the Pacific Mobi
 le Depot (http://www.pacificmobiledepots.com). They charge a fee for p
 lastic recycling, but thanks to a Small Neighbourhood Grant we will re
 cycle for free for the next few months!\nHere's how it works: BEFORE Y
 OU ARRIVE: 1) Sort your plastics into the above eight categories. If y
 ou bring items that you do not know how to sort, please put those into
  a separate bag as well. 2) Only bring items that are CLEAN, i.e. no f
 ood products left in any bags or containers, beverage containers will 
 have to be rinsed well and aired out, ESPECIALLY MILK CONTAINERS). WHE
 N YOU ARRIVE: Put your plastics into the appropriate category bag. Ask
  organizers for help if you do not know how to sort. If you have any q
