DESCRIPTION:On Thursday July 18 from 3 to 6pm Kits Village Vancouver w
 ill collect plastics for FREE at the Westside Food (Pocket) Market at 
 8th and Vine. Please come by to pick up some fresh veggies, swap some 
 seeds at our seed library, signup for upcoming drop in spaghetti night
 s, and drop off your plastics!\nThis is a great way to get to know you
 r neighbors and get rid of all the plastics that cannot recycled throu
 gh the city program, i.e. plastic bags, wraps, styrofoam etc.\nAt the 
 market we will have several large plastic bags set up, one for each pl
 astic category 1) soft plastics, i.e. any plastic bags, wraps or packa
 ging, 2) hard plastics, i.e. any hard plastics, but w/metal parts etc.
  removed, 3) styrofoam blocks, 4) styrofoam containers, i.e. cups and 
 food take out containers, 5) styrofoam peanuts and other \"soft\" styr
 ofoam, 6) wax lined beverage containers, 7) milk cartons (separate fro
 m other beverage containers), 8) foil lined bags packaging and wraps).
  The plastics will be dropped off at the Pacific Mobile Depot (http://
 www.pacificmobiledepots.com). They charge a fee for plastic recycling,
  but thanks to a Small Neighbourhood Grant we will recycle for free fo
 r the next few months!\nHere's how it works: BEFORE YOU ARRIVE: 1) Sor
 t your plastics into the above eight categories. If you bring items th
 at you do not know how to sort, please put those into a separate bag a
 s well. 2) Only bring items that are CLEAN, i.e. no food products left
  in any bags or containers, beverage containers will have to be rinsed
  well and aired out, ESPECIALLY MILK CONTAINERS). WHEN YOU ARRIVE: Put
  your plastics into the appropriate category bag. Ask organizers for h
 elp if you do not know how to sort. If you have any questions please d
