  digital photography skills using smart devices such as your iPhone or
  Android tablet.\nThe first class will consist of instruction related 
 to photography composition principles and techniques, hands-on practic
 e using your device, and constructive instructor feedback to help you 
 improve your photos. Students will be given a short homework assignmen
 t between classes and will be given a complimentary pass to the Garden
  or Bloedel Conservatory to complete the assignment on their own time.
  In our second class we will review the homework assignment with a pri
 vate gallery showing and will learn from each other’s successes and 
 challenges. Using the free app, Autodesk Pixlr, we will learn editing 
 techniques to enhance and improve your images. Topics covered will inc
 lude: editing for different publishing options (including blogs, print
 ing, Instagram and more), colour correction, filters and more. Student
 s must bring their own device (fully charged) and install the free app
