 r\nIn this Village Vancouver workshop covering the basics of planning,
  preparing, and starting a food garden this Spring, you'll learn some 
 simple techniques from Rhiannon Johnson for starting plants indoors/in
  the garden, tailored to your space. Be rewarded with the taste of fre
 shly grown veggies this season! We'll have the W. Pt. Grey Village see
 d library present - pick up free seeds for your garden, swap or donate
  seeds.\r\nBy donation ($0-12.50). Free for Seniors (50 and over). Reg

  Garden\r\nLocated behind the Mansion, just off of NW Marine Dr, and h
 osted by Village Vancouver, the garden includes VV’s Collaborative D
 emo Permaculture Garden, the WPG Preschool Garden and art/garden proje
 cts by Aberthau artist residencies and local artists, including artist
 s-in-residence LocoMotoArt (Laura Lee Coles and Rob Scharein). Emphasi
 zing permaculture design elements,  including a small hugelkultur, an
  herb spiral, planting pollinator attractants, and saving open pollina
 ted seeds, the garden offers fun, inclusive social, educational, culin
 ary and cultural activities for community members. Enjoy cooking, ferm
 enting, preserving and DIY demonstrations, including canning, fermente
 d sodas, and making tofu and paneer, timely gardening workshops such a
 s early summer gardening, vertical gardening and growing herbs, the se
 ed savers club, and a native edibles walk, as well as Saturday morning
  gardening. \r\nIn the garden, newer gardeners garden collaboratively
  alongside more experienced gardeners, providing a learning experience
