DESCRIPTION:This workshop is almost full.In this Village Vancouver Eld
 ergreens workshop with Lori Snyder, you'll discover how to make beeswa
 x salves with infused plant oils. It's quick and easy, and beeswax sal
 ves have many different applications, including lip balms, natural ski
 n care, hand salves and salves for wounds and sprains. Gardeners - you
  can make salves from your garden from a variety of plant infused oliv
 e oils blended into beeswax.\nWe'll have the Point Grey Village commun
 ity seed library present, and you'll be able to get some free seeds - 
 including pollinator attractant seeds - for your garden, or swap or do
 nate seeds.\nThis workshop is by donation ($0 - $10). Free for Seniors

  GARDEN PROJECT Located behind the Mansion, just off of NW Marine Dr, 
 and hosted by Village Vancouver, the garden includes VV’s Demonstrat
 ion Permaculture Garden, the WPG Preschool Garden and art/garden proje
 cts by artists-in-residence LocoMotoArt: Laura Lee Coles and Rob Schar
 ein.Emphasizing permaculture design elements, including a small hugelk
 ultur, an herb spiral, planting pollinator attractants, and saving ope
 n pollinated seeds, the garden offers fun, inclusive social, education
 al, culinary and cultural activities for community members. Enjoy free
  or low-cost Wednesday evening cooking, fermenting and preserving demo
 nstrations, including sauerkraut, kefir, and tastes of Korea and India
 , gardening workshops like early summer gardening, native edibles walk
 s and the seed savers club.\n\nIn the garden, newer gardeners garden c
 ollaboratively alongside more experienced gardeners at our Saturday wo
