DESCRIPTION:Village Vancouver Eldergreens presents an interactive work
 shop on Native Pollionators with Erin Udal. You'll learn how to recogn
 ize some of the native species in Vancouver. Find out what types of pl
 ants will support our local bees and keep them buzzing in our balconie
 s and garden - even the smallest green spaces can make a difference!\n
 We'll have the Point Grey Village community seed library present, and 
 you'll be able to get some free seeds - including pollinator attractan
 t seeds - for your garden, or swap or donate seeds.\nThis workshop is 
 by donation ($0 - $10). Free for Seniors (50 and over). Register here

 , VV ElderGreens brings seniors, youth and others together to share fo
 od and gardening skills and wisdom through workshops and other activit

 just off of NW Marine Dr, and hosted by Village Vancouver, the garden 
 includes VV’s Demonstration Permaculture Garden, the WPG Preschool G
 arden and art/garden projects by artists-in-residence LocoMotoArt: Lau
 ra Lee Coles and Rob Scharein.Emphasizing permaculture design elements
 , including a small hugelkultur, an herb spiral, planting pollinator a
 ttractants, and saving open pollinated seeds, the garden offers fun, i
 nclusive social, educational, culinary and cultural activities for com
 munity members. Enjoy free or low-cost Wednesday evening cooking, ferm
 enting and preserving demonstrations, including sauerkraut, kefir, and
  tastes of Korea and India, gardening workshops like early summer gard
 ening, native edibles walks and the seed savers club.\n\nIn the garden
 , newer gardeners garden collaboratively alongside more experienced ga
 rdeners at our Saturday work parties, providing a learning experience
