DESCRIPTION:Are you intrigued about fermenting? Learn about several o
 ptions in this Village Vancouver Eldergreens workshop, including veggi
 e fermenting (sauerkraut and local seasonal ferments), water kefir, m
 ilk kefir, and kombucha. Find out what's involved, what equipment you 
 need, where to find supplies and ingredients, and how much time and 
 space it takes. We'll have a community seed library there - pick up so
 me free seeds for your garden, or swap or donate seeds. \r\n\r\nAdult
 s/families w/children 10 yrs+ are welcome - minors must be accompanied
  by a caregiver. \r\n\r\nCost: $0-12.50 suggested donation. Free for

 osted by Village Vancouver, the garden includes VV’s Demonstration P
 ermaculture Garden, the WPG Preschool Garden and art/garden projects b
 y artists-in-residence LocoMotoArt: Laura Lee Coles and Rob Scharein. 
 Emphasizing permaculture design elements, including a small hugelkultu
 r, an herb spiral, planting pollinator attractants, and saving open po
 llinated seeds, the garden offers fun, inclusive social, educational, 
 culinary and cultural activities for community members. Enjoy free/low
 -cost Wednesday evening cooking, fermenting & preserving demonstration
 s, inc. sauerkraut, kefir, gardening workshops like early summer garde
 ning, native edibles walks and the seed savers club.\r\nIn the garden,
  newer gardeners garden collaboratively alongside more experienced gar
 deners at our Saturday work parties, providing a learning experience f
