DESCRIPTION:In this Village Vancouver ElderGreens workshop, Laura Reid
  from Counter-Cultures will discuss Fermented Sodas, including Rootbee
 r, Water Kefir, Kombucha and Ginger Ale Samples will be provided, and 
 you'll go home with an informative booklet which covers the topics cov
 ered in class, as well as various recipes. We'll have the W. Pt. Grey 
 VV community seed library present - pick up some free seeds for your g
 arden, swap or donate seeds.\r\n\r\nCost: $12.50. Free for seniors (50

 d the Mansion, just off of NW Marine Dr, and hosted by Village Vancouv
 er, the garden includes VV’s Collaborative Demo Permaculture Garden,
  the WPG Preschool Garden and art/garden projects by Aberthau artist r
 esidencies and local artists, including artists-in-residence LocoMotoA
 rt. Emphasizing permaculture design elements, including a small hugelk
 ultur, an herb spiral, planting pollinator attractants, and saving ope
 n pollinated seeds, the garden offers fun, inclusive social, education
 al, culinary and cultural activities for community members. Enjoy cook
 ing, fermenting, preserving and DIY demonstrations, including canning,
  fermented sodas, and making tofu and paneer, timely gardening worksho
 ps such as early summer gardening, vertical gardening and growing herb
 s, the seed savers club, and a native edibles walk, as well as Saturda
 y morning gardening.\r\nGarden Open House Saturday, April 28 10 am-3 p
 m. Free, fun, and family friendly! Gardening, garden tours, workshops,
  harvest straw art, community potluck, music, storytelling, LocoMotoAr
