SUMMARY:Grow Your Own Microgreens
DESCRIPTION:\r\n\r\nMicrogreens are tasty and nutritious greens that c
 an be eaten as a fresh snack or added to salads, smoothies, soups and 
 more. In this Village Vancouver workshop with Dr. Yael Stav, you'll le
 arn how to grow your own trays of microgreens at home year-round. We'l
 l look at the difference between sprouts and microgreens, review the m
 any possible seeds that can be used for starting microgreens, and inve
 stigate troubleshooting common problems. You'll prepare your own micro
 green tray to take home! We'll have a community seed library present -
  pick up some free seeds, swap or donate seeds.\r\n\r\nRegistration re
 quired: $16/person (includes materials). To reserve your spot please 
 send etransfer for payment to farmtoplate@jfsvancouver.ca.\r\n\r\n\r\
 nThis workshop is run in partnership with Farm-to-Plate Marketplace an
 d Jewish Family Services. If you need assistance in paying the partici
 pation fee, please contact farmtoplate@jfsvancouver.ca or call (236)
  521-8263 to access a subsidy to cover your expenses.  We will also 
 be running our weekly \"Pay What You Can Virtual Farmers Market\" at t
