 n \nChief Community Officer, Hives for Humanity\nSarah is a community 
 support worker and beekeeper; she is passionate about fostering vibran
 t, healthy community through empowerment and education. She believes i
 n the profound impact of connecting individuals and communities to the
 ir land, their food and their spirit.\nHives for Humanity is a non-pro
 fit organization that encourages community connections through apicult
 ure, more commonly known as beekeeping.Through mentorship based progra
 mming we create flexible opportunities for people to engage in the the
 rapeutic culture that surrounds the hive; we foster connectivity to na
 ture and to each other; we participate in local sustainable economies;
  we support at-risk populations of people and pollinators, and we do s
 o with respect and joy.\nYOU ARE INVITED to the Groundswell SocialS: a
  weekly event featuring local entrepreneurs, community activists, and 
 professionals who are making real positive change on the ground in Van
 couver and are eager to share their experience and insight with you.\n
 Call it social enterprise, community building, social innovation, chan
 gemaking, meaningful work, professional development, or just kicking b
 ack with a beer and a room full of curious, smart, heart-centered doer
 s (yes, this means YOU!) - come and find your community here. And, get
  the tips, tricks, and stories that are creating the map to that bette
 r future, as we venture there.\nEACH WEEK  a new speaker, or set of sp
 eakers, will share their story and experience and engage in dialogue w
 ith attendees in a Q&A session. Afterwards, the bar will remain open a
 nd you can stay - or come late and join us then! - for a casual, warm 
 soiree where you can energize and grow the groundswell of social chang
