 e Vancouver Food Policy Council and Village Vancouver, MOV is pleased 
 to host an interactive evening of presentations, discussion, and visio
 ning from local innovators, practitioners, and community members that 
 encourage people to think about our local circumstances and how we can
  map a course for change here in Vancouver.\nFocusing on the 'Top 5' b
 iggest potential Footprint-reducing contributions provided by the Gree
 nest City Lighter Footprint \"Feet to the Fire\" committee, FHTH4 will
  explore effective actions we can take to reduce our ecological footpr
 int, especially as cheap energy sources peak and climate change intens
 ifies.\nModerator: Randy Shore (the Green Man, Vancouver Sun)\nJennie 
 Moore --  Reducing Vancouver’s Ecological Footprint: Insights to Ac
 tion \nAn overview of Vancouver’s ecological footprint and what typ
 es of changes in lifestyle and consumption activities would be needed 
 to reduce it. Learn about the five most important things you can do an
 d why senior government involvement is also need if we are truly going
  to get serious about sustainability.  \nJennie is the BCIT Directo
 r of Sustainable Development and Environmental Stewardship. She works 
 in the School of Construction and the Environment. Her work was instru
 mental in formulation of the City of Vancouver’s Greenest City 2020 
 Lighter Footprint goal. She is an associate of the One-Earth Initiativ
 e and participates in the Feet-to-the-Fire group that is currently hel
 ping the City identify opportunities to advance its lighter footprint 
 goal. \nPanelists: Tara Moreau and Ross Moster.\nTara is a scientis
 t of sustainable food systems. She works internationally as a consulta
 nt with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization.  Locally, she found
 ed SPEC's Food committee. She is a member the Food Policy Council a
 nd is advisor on a collaborative project to develop bioregional food p
 lans for BC and the Yukon.\nRoss is the Founder of Village Vancouver, 
 Vancouver's Transition Initiative, and a member of the Food Policy C
 ouncil. He is primarily focused on building food and community resi
 lience, chairs the joint VV/VFPC FED-AP (Food Energy Descent Action P
 lan) Working Group, and works with a number of Neighbourhood Food Netw
