Pilgrimage in carpools to the Sunshine Coast, a short ferry ride f rom Vancouver, to experience a unique and creative introduction to the permaculture paradigm. \ntogether we will :\ntalk about the ethos, p rinciples,  toolkit and metastructure of permaculture,\ntour the gard ens,\nmeet some of the food-medicine plants of the Coastal First Peopl es, \nshare a potluck meal, \nwatch some permaculture movies, \nwal k in the rainforest, \nmeet by the ocean,\nand have an inspiring day learning and growing with nature. \nThe day will run on August 25 fro m 11 am - 5:30 pm, aligning with the bus linked to the 9:40 am ferry f rom Horseshoe Bay and the 6:50 pm ferry returning to Vancouver.
