DESCRIPTION:Feeding Hearts & Minds is a monthly meal and dialogue expl
 oring the intersection of ‘spirituality’ and social change. It’s
  a chance to reconnect with people, to remember what feeds your work, 
 and to re-engage in strategic and fulfilling ways.\nWHO:  It’s for a
 ctivists, organizers, artists, nurturers, students, leaders, and those
  who are still trying to figure it all out. It’s for people trying t
 o find purpose and meaning beyond the limits of consumerism and self-i
 nterest. People longing to live out their values in more impactful and
  effective ways. People deeply engaged in social change work, and tire
 d as heck from it. People who sometimes experience despair at the stat
 e of the world, yet keep getting out of bed each morning to make it be
 tter.\n\nAnd, it's for people of all ages. For now we won't be able to
  provide separate childcare, but we endeavour for the space to be welc
 oming to children, so if you've got them, feel free to bring them alon
 g. \nMORE DETAILS: \n The last Sunday evening of each month, starting
  January 29th, 5:30-7:30pm. \n At Lakeview Multicultural United Church
 , on East 12th Avenue, between Victoria Drive and Nanaimo St. (The loc
 ation is wheelchair accessible, and there is an accessible, gender-neu
 tral bathroom).\n Rotating guest speakers telling stories of what insp
 ires and grounds their work for a better world. This month's guest is 
 Claudia Medina. An educator, activist and filmmaker, Claudia has filme
 d with Nettie Wild, done organizing with the Council of Canadians, and
  has been part of coordinating workshops on 'regenerating the ecologic
 al self'.\n Simple and delicious food prepared by a fantastic team of 
 volunteers (with vegetarian/lactose-free/gluten-free options). Music l
 ed by talented local folks (singing along invited). Conversation, soci
