  prospect of a world with drastically reduced access to energy and mat
 erial goods, a rising network of Transition Town advocates, urban home
 steaders, permaculture activists, and DIY proponents are retraining co
 mmunities to manage their own food, shelter, waste, transportation, he
 alth, clothing, and models of exchange.\nThis month, Transition US and
  The Evolver Social Movement will explore the pioneering organizations
  and individuals who are empowering us to build vibrant, resilient, an
