 -time, facilitated discussion co-sponsored by Village Vancouver to:\n-
 explore and share thoughts, feelings and actions regarding the potenti
 al impacts of ecological collapse;\n-help find meaning, clarity and pe
 ace in this uncertain world;\n-and together build personal and communi
 ty resilience.\n\nFacilitator:  Fred Bass is a community medicine phy
 sician whose past work focused on tobacco addiction & clinical prevent
 ive care and who served on Vancouver city council from 1999 to 2005.\n
 \nPre-registration is necessary to limit the number to 12 participants

 ble to depression or other mental health issues, or who have had a rec
 ent major personal loss, should delay participation until they get enc
 ouragement to participate from a counsellor, health professional or su
 pportive friend.\n\nFurther info:  Seven Eco-resilience workshops hav
 e been held in 2019, from January to October.  Despite the seriousnes
 s of this subject, each of the seven groups seemed positive and energi
 zed at the close of the workshop.\n \nFollow-up will take the form of
  \"Eco-resilience Gatherings\" to begin in 2020 to provide those inter
 ested an opportunity to socialize, share announcements and to join a f
 ocused discussion led by persons experienced in building community-lev
 el, Transition-Town, Village-Vancouver style resilience. \n\n\nWe ack
