DESCRIPTION:After a summer recess, the Ecological/New Economics circle
  will be beginning its monthly discussion circles once again this fall
 , with the next one on October 25th from 7pm until about 10pm (locatio
 n to be announced soon).\nThe format of our discussion circle involves
  one member leading a discussion around a topic related to Ecological 
 or New Economics that interests them and/or that they are knowledgeabl
 e about. In this way we teach each other, and very stimulating and edi
 fying conversation has always ensued. We hope that anyone with an inte
 rest in alternatives to our current unsustainable and unstable economi
 c system will join us. \nFor our next discussion circle, Jordan Bober
  will be leading a discussion on Open Money and community currencies, 
 and will be joined by special guest Michael Linton, a thirty-year vete
 ran in the field who invented the Open Money concept, founded the LETS
  mutual credit model which has now been copied thousands of time aroun
 d the world, and has implemented several community currencies, includi
 ng the Comox Valley Community Way currency.\n\nFor more information vi
