DESCRIPTION:A Global Collaboration Since 1997\nEarthdance is the world
 's largest synchronized music and dance festival for peace. Since its 
 inception, Earthdance has been held annually in over 500 locations in 
 80 countries with all events simultaneously joining together in the Pr
 ayer for Peace – a powerful moment of coherent intention. Each publi
 c Earthdance event commits 50% of its profits to a charity that falls 
 into one of the following categories:\n\n* The Welfare of Children and
  Urban Youth\n* Indigenous Peoples and Cultures\n* International Relie
 f and Development\n* Environmental Sustainability and Protection\n* Or
 ganizations that Promote Peace\n\n2010’s focus is Embracing All Trad
 itions – recognizing and honoring the diversity of faiths and cultur
 es that make up our human family.\n\nEarthdance Vancouver will include
  dj's, workshops, info tables, multi-cultural green picnic potluck wit
 h biodegradeable disposables and \"brown\" bin for compostables. There
  will be a bicycle parade with mobile soundsystems to go to the evenin
 g event. The night time features an Indian dinner ($7) and conference 
 that will be webcast live. The dancing will go from 10:30-3:30 and con
 clude with sonic meditation.\n\nDaytime is a partial fundraiser for Pi
