 rest Garden w/Calgary's reGenerate Design

n, Lindsay, and Luke from reGenerate Design (regeneratedesign.ca), you
'll learn essential principles and techniques involved in the design a
nd planting of successful edible forest gardens.\nEdible forest garden
s (aka food forests) are modeled after natural forest ecosystems, maki
ng them more resilient, sustainable, and beneficial to the surrounding
environment and requiring lower maintenance than conventional gardens
and landscaping. Like natural forests, food forests build healthy soi

workshops and implemented placemaking projects in the public realm. Be
fore founding reGenerate Design, she worked for the City of Calgary in
Development and Building Approvals, giving her a detailed understandi

ard Walker, Gregoire Lamoureux (Kootenay Permaculture Institute), and
Rob Avis (Verge Permaculture); and working on some of Western Canada
s largest and most extensive food forest projects. He continually app
lies his “boots-on-the-ground” wisdom to enhance the design/instal
lation process, and believes that creating a better world is possible
through helping people develop a meaningful and productive relationshi
