DESCRIPTION:No actors. No play. No script.\nTheatre for Living continu
 es a 32-year legacy of innovation with a project about the corporate m
 essages that live within our collective psyche.\nThe messages from cor
 porations tell us hundreds of times a day, in ways we may not notice a
 nymore, how to relate to each other and to ourselves; what to buy, how
  to feel, how to think, and the kind of person to aspire to be.\nCan w
 e use the theatre to become aware of these messages, and to change our
  relationships to them, to live healthier and more sustainable lives w
 ith each other, with ourselves, and with the planet?\nThis project hop
 es to be more than just an investigation, but rather to catalyze trans
 formative action! How? By making each event relevant, at a grassroots 
 level, to each unique community in which it happens and for the local 
 organizers to use that momentum to move forward on local community iss
 ues.  \nEach event is the community’s creation. We are touring a pr
 ocess in which the whole evening of theatre emerges from the audience.
 \nSounds heavy, but it’s a great deal of fun!\nThe project will laun
 ch on October 10 and 11 in Mount Pleasant, investigating how corporate
  messages have planted themselves in our collective psyche, and how we
  can use theatre to \"evict\" these messages.\nVillage Vancouver and t
 he Residents Association of Mount Pleasant are collaborating with the 
 Theatre for Living to bring new people to the Friday, 11 October Perfo
 rmance of Corporations in Our Heads, a night for the local community t
 o exorcize its corporate ghosts.\nVillage Vancouver and the Residents 
 Association of Mount Pleasant have made a donation for the Friday perf
 ormance to help ensure people from the community could come without an
 y cost at all.  The performance is otherwise simply by donation, and 
 if you are at all financially challenged and live within the community
 , please come on us.\nWe believe theatre can teach, heal, and rebuild
